Back to the college

After about 3 weeks of winter holidays, today I went to the college to take some classes. My short winter holidays had already gone... But I have 3 days off from tomorrow. I will back to winter holidays... lol

Anyway, I went to donate blood on Thursday. This is third time to make a blood donation but this became my first time to make a blood donation not on car. I made a blood donation on mobile blood donation unit at first time. I also made a blood donation on mobile blood donation unit at second time. These are because I don't have a much chance to make a blood donation without changing my driving license cards... lol

The mobile blood donation unit is in front of the license centre when I go there. So, I made a blood donation twice in this place. But yesterday, I went to another place and it was not mobile blood donation unit...

I felt it's better to make a blood donation in such a centre because I didn't take a long time to donate.

Thank you.

End of Matsunouchi(松の内)

During 1st January to 7th January, we are in “松の内(the first seven days of the year)”. Most of Japanese visit shrine in this period to wish their health, peace and etc for whole year. I’ve visited on 2nd January in this year and I drew a paper fortune. I draw a paper fortune every year to hear a fortune during the year. But I don’t believe it, just think about it... This year’s result was “中吉(middle lucky)”. The best result for paper fortune is “大吉(very good lucky)” and the worst result is “大凶(great misfortune)”. So, it’s good!

If we visit 7 shrines in this period, we can grant 7 requests. But we must visit 7 shrines of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune. I’ve never been to do this before. Never. But I want to do this someday.

In the end of Matsunouchi, “門松(Kadomatsu)” a pair of pine decoration, and other decorations will be replaced. I heard Matsunouchi was until 15th January in olden times but now it is until 7th January.

Anyway, I felt Matsunouchi of this year was different from usual one. Some people were tweeting in Twitter, so many Japanese felt so I think. I don’t know exactly why but it maybe because of short holidays. Maybe most of office workers started their job on 4th January, I think it’s too short. How do you think?

Thank you.
Good day & Peace and Smile!

nama-caramel

Do you know "生キャラメル(nama-caramel)"? The nama-caramel is caramel but it use rich fresh cream. Some medias especially TV programs introduced this again and again. I got tired to watch these kind of TV programs last year...

Anyway, I ate this yesterday first time. It was so soft taste and it's sweet but I prefer usual caramel... lol
Have you ever tried this?

Thank you.

Welcome 2010

Happy new year, everybody! It's 2010!!
How was your holidays?

Yesterday, I enjoyed watching Hakone Ekiden on TV with Yebisu beer... lol
Hakone Ekiden is one of the most famous Ekiden race in Japan and it hold on 2nd January and 3rd January. Well, I write a little bit about "駅伝(Ekiden)". Ekiden is the relay race on the public road. In the Hakone Ekiden, the runners go to Hakone from Tokyo on 2nd January and they go back from Hakone on 3rd January. I think, distance between Hakone and Tokyo is about 100 km. 20 teams join this race but runners are all university students. The team of Toyo university won this race both 2nd January and 3rd January. I love to watch this race in New Year.

Anyway, this is my first post in 2010. I want to write my declaration.

1. I will read over 100 books in this year!
I didn't declare this last year but I think, I will do this in this year! Of course, I'm going to read Japanese books...

2. I will new things!
I started to use Twitter again, these days... lol
I bought new bicycle last year! ... well, I will act more quickly in this year!

3. I will improve my language skills!
I'm talking about not only English. Of course, I want to improve my English but I want to improve my Japanese too.

4. I will be morning person!
I wrote about this before, but these days... I will be morning person this year!!!

5. I will keep posting this blog!
Of course, I will... lol

I believe that I can post the article that I could clear all these things in December, 2010...

Thank you.
