The last day

Today

is the last day of September. And today is the last day of my long long Summer holidays... I need to go to college from tomorrow. Before that I need textbooks that will need in the lessons of next term. I went to college and bought a textbook. I'm in last year of my college then I don't have to attend a lot of lessons in next term. So, I bought only one textbook for the next term.

But I have an appointment in college before that. I went to college at 10:30. I joined the meeting until 12:00. Book store in our college will open at 14:00... I needed to wait until its open... I waited for a couple of hours then I bought only one textbook... I don't feel I wasted the time but maybe I could do something during a couple of hours.

And my summer holidays. My summer holidays were about 2 months. But most of time I did my part time job... I joined a few parties (like wine party). I bought an iPhone. I got older. I went to Kawaguchiko alone... I could do many things and enjoyed it but I wanna do something more.

I wanna go trip to foreign country. I wanna talk in English with many people. I wanna drive a motorcycle. I wanna dive. I wanna skydive. I wanna challenge to rock-climbing. I wanna challenge to free-climbing. I wanna do my homework....

Of course, last one is joke...LOL

What do you want to do?

Anyway, this is not the last day of my web log. I'll keep posting my web log.

Formula 1

Did

you see the Formula 1 race that held in Singapore yesterday? I watched that on TV last night. Singapore grand prix is F1's first night race. I heard that this is because time difference between Singapore and Europe. If night race held in Singapore, the time in Europe is day time. It is good for Euros. But in Japan this is not big change.

Because most of F1 races are held in Europe that time in Japan is night. Then most of races are airing at mid-night in Japan. Airing time is really good because I'm not always at home on most of day time. Then I can watch it.

I like Felipe Massa most. He is driver of Ferrari. And his name is smiler to my name Masaya. Then I'm cheering him. But he couldn't win the race last night...

Of course, I'm cheering for Kazuki Nakajima too. Because he is only Japanese who is driving in F1.

Day-tripper

Yesterday,

I went to day-trip like I posted before. I went to Kawaguchiko(河口湖) yesterday. I went there by train. It took about 90 minutes to arrive to Kawaguchiko(河口湖). Kawaguchiko(河口湖) is located in Yamanashi prefecture, Japan. It is one of Fuji five lakes. Five lakes are Yamanakako(山中湖), Motosuko(本栖湖), Saiko(西湖), Shojiko(精進湖) and Kawaguchiko(河口湖). All of five lakes are located in base of Mt.Fuji.

I think, Kawaguchiko is easiest lake to access. Because we can go there by train. But other lakes can't access by train. We have to use car or bus to get other lakes. There is amusement park "Fujikyu Highland" near Kawaguchiko. There are some roller coasters. Fujiyama, Eejanaika and Dodonpa are famous roller coasters. But I've never ride such a roller coaster... I don't like these.

My plan of day-trip was different from real one. First, my plan was to go to Kiyosato, Yamanashi. But Kiyosato is far away from my house. I need 3 hours to take there. Then I changed my plan to go to Kawaguchiko. I can go there about 90 minutes. And it is also famous resort near Tokyo. If I have a chance, I will go to Kiyosato maybe.

Anyway, I went there because I wanted to take photos there. I could take many photos there. Actually I took 100 photos there. Then I upload some of them on my web page. Please check it!

This trip was good but there was one problem. The weather. The weather was good but... Cloud covered top of Mt.Fuji then I couldn't see overview of Mt.Fuji yesterday...

Blog action day

Today

is not "Blog Action Day". Blog action day is 15th October. I'm in. Then I'll post on 15th October. It is Wednesday so I'll post my article that they but I didn't decide the theme yet so I could decide the theme of post on 15th October. It will be "poverty". Anyway, I decided which is the better day to go to day-trip on Thursday or on Friday. I decided to go to day trip on Thursday. Then I went to Kawaguchiko today. But I'm tired today. I'll report you my day-trip tomorrow.

Depends on the weather

I'm

still in the summer holidays. My college's summer holidays is until 30th September. I need to go to college from 1st October. But I don't feel it is summer holidays. Because it is not summer. And I couldn't go anywhere special in this holidays. Then I decided to go to day-trip.

I can go day-trip on Thursday or on Friday. I will decide it until next morning but it is depends on the weather. Weather forecast says "it will be rain on Thursday". But another weather forecast says "it will be rain on Friday". Which is the right one? I couldn't chose it. Then I decided to go on Thursday or Friday. If next morning's weather is not good, I'll go to day-trip on Friday. I'll report it on Thursday or on Friday...

Anyway, I like day-trip. Go many places and take photos there. So, I'll bring my camera on the day-trips. I think, car is better than train because I can go anywhere if I drive the car. Train can't move the place where is no rails. I wanna go day-trip with car but I decided to go there with train. Because rental price is expensive... Train is cheaper than rental the car in my day-trip plan. It will limit my activity fields maybe... But I don't care about that.

I hope I can go to day-trip and enjoy it on Thursday or on Friday.

Wine party

On

11, September, I became 20 years old. In Japan, 20 years old have big meaning I think. We needs to pay for National pension plan. We can vote, drink and smoke. And we can retain the mobile phone without our parents agreement. Then, I retained to SoftBank and start using iPhone. LOL When we became 20 years old, we can do many things that we couldn't do.

Now I can drink, smoke and vote. Of course, I won't smoke but I like drinking. I don't drink every day but I like drinking. On Saturday, I drunk some Italian wines. I'm a student but I'm working for family restaurant as a part time work. On Saturday, our manager held wine-tasting party. I don't know much about wines but I like drinking wines. We drunk 3 types of wines and enjoyed that.

I posted with red wine photo but we drunk white wines and sparkling wines on Saturday. (We'll drink red wine on Friday.) I didn't know much about wines, but I like it. And I could know the difference between these 3 types of wines. Maybe, I can't find the difference in other wines... :(

I think, sommeliers are really great people. I will not be able to become sommelier. LOL

Cash back

I

bought a Nikon's digital SLR camera last month. I bought D60 double lens kit. And they are in cash back campaign if we buy D60 double lens kit, we can get 10,000 yen cash back. If we buy D60 only or D60 lens kit, we can get 5,000 yen cash back. But we need to send letter to Nikon with some documents after we bought a D60.

I bought it in August then I could get 10,000 yen cash back. And today they sent me a 10,000 yen of clean draft. I need to go to bank to get 10,000 yen but I think, it is not so hard work if I can get 10,000 yen. Most of people will agree with this, I believe. I'll go to bank on Monday, maybe... Anyway, 10,000 yen is about US$100. 5,000 yen is about US$50.

Of course, I bought it to take a lot of photos. But I couldn't take a lot of photos in this summer vacation. Then I hope I can take a lot of photos with D60. Typhoon

I

felt this summer is different from other year's summer. This summer was hot this is no difference. But thunder storm happened in many place in Japan. This is the biggest difference I think. And typhoon didn't come to Japan... This is very rare case.

Now typhoon No.13 is coming to Japan but this is the first typhoon that will attack to Japan in this year. Usually, typhoon first attacked to Japan during August. But now we are in September. Mid September!

No typhoon attacked to Japan in this year, but there were natural disasters. Weather changed rapidly and heavy rains hit Japan. What is happening in the world?

Environmental destruction with no future

Last

week, I went to Mt. Takao and I posted a short report on my web log. And Today, I went near there. There are many nature but also there are some artifacts. They are building new high way there.

In 1967, Chuo expressway was open to traffic. Chuo expressway is located in near Mt. Takao. Also there is a plan to built new expressway there. "Ken-o expressway". Last year Ken-o expressway was connected to Chuo expressway in Takao. And they are now in construction to connect it to Yokohama. "Ken-o expressway" is long expressway the road started from Yokohama and last stop is Kisarazu (Chiba).

They are now in construction to built new tunnel in Takao. Many people in there are disapproving and I'm disapproving too. There are many natures and we need to protect them. People who are planed this expressway, told us this expressway will be really good for all of us. But I don't think so. This is just "environmental destruction". If they destroyed the nature there, nature will not be back. And this type of expressway will be disappear in near future I believe. Then we don't need new expressway like "Ken-o expressway". I think, train transports is better than using cars.

iPhone 3G

I

bought an iPhone 3Gon Friday. I didn't know I can buy it the softbank store near my house. Then, I didn't know I can use it on Friday or not.
But I was really luckey I could get it and now I'm using it. (I waited about an hour to get iPhone at the softbank shop)

First, I have a problem. I couldn't send e-mail from iPhone. I'm user of dot mac then I can use dot mac mail but I couldn't use my new e-mail. That e-mail account was given by softbank. And I wanted to use this new e-mail account.

I couldn't use this e-mail account about a day. I found the reason and how to fix it on the web. After, I fix it I can use my new e-mail account.

Is it tough for my computer?

IN

this week, Apple released new iPod nano, iPod touch, iPod classic and iTunes. Now my iTunes' version is version 8.0. In iTunes 8, there are new playlist generator "genius", new interface and new visualizer. I like new visualizer but I think, it is tough for my computer... If I press skip again and again, visualizer didn't work well. Look at the photo on the left. This one is usual visualizer display. But if I press skip again and again it will change like second one.

Something different from left one. But this one is better one because sometimes it would get worse. I upload that shot on below.

There are only points. When I press skip again and again, fan worked very much and made big noise. Then visualizer didn't work well... Maybe this is depend on my computer's specs. Anyway, I like this visualizer. How about you? Is this visualizer works well on your computer?

Unique building

Today

I went to Shinjuku. In Shinjuku, there are many building. In its cluster of high-rise buildings, there are the Tokyo metropolitan government towers. The Tokyo metropolitan government towers are unique building but there is more unique building in Shinjuku.

You can check the shape of unique building. Photo on the top is the shape of unique building in Shinjuku. "Cocoon tower". This is the name of this unique building. Cocoon tower is still in construction but it will accomplish in 31, October. Tokyo mode gakuen, HAL Tokyo and Shuto ikou these three schools will start their class in this building in April, 2009. Maybe it is good news for most of students who've never been to Tokyo. Because this building is too unique to do not miss.

Mt. Takao

I

went to Mt. Takao today. I'm living in Hachioji-shi then it is easy to access to Mt. Takao. I went there by bicycle. LOL Mt. Takao along with Mt. Fuji, the Michelin three-star winning mountain in Japan. We need to go there only an hour by train from Tokyo. But we can meet various plants and various animals there. And view from mountaintop is really fantastic! It will take 1 to 2 hours to go to mountaintop on foot.

There used to live Tengu. Tengu is one of the Japanese specters. It has long nose and red face. In JR Takao station (near Mt. Takao), there is stone figure of Tengu. You can find some tengu figures in Mt. Takao too. On top photo is one of them.

Anyway, I went there because I wanna take photos there. When I was elementary school I went there first time because of school trip. Some elementary schools and junior-high schools in Tokyo went there as school trip. Maybe most of Tokyoites knows about Mt. Takao.

You can access to Mt. Takao from Takao-sanguchi station (Keio Takao line). You can go there from Shinjuku station and it took 45 minutes (fastest). If you need more information please contact me.

Starbucks discoveries

you know starbucks discoveries? Starbucks discoveries is one of the bland of starbucks coffee but it is selling only in convenience stores in Japan. There were 3 flavors Seattle Latte, Milano Espresso and Paris Cafe au lait. I like Paris Cafe au lait most. But today they added new flavor. Kyoto Matcha latte. I bought it today.

I like flavor Kyoto Matcha latte. Starbucks discoveries' all flavors are 210 yen and selling in 200 ml cup. You can buy it most of convenience stores in Japan. I don't know about other countries.

I like starbucks coffee. They give us the relaxing place. I like reading books and drink a cup of coffee there. There are good music and good mood. How about you?

Friday, I wrote about national pension plan. Paying 14,410 yen per month is really tough especially for students like me. Then there are special plan for students and young people. If we fulfill the terms, we don't have to pay.

I'm still students then I don't have to pay until I'll graduate. But fist of all I need to go to the city office and apply for it. I got the letter from the government. On the letter, there are some telephone numbers. I didn't know how to apply for. Then I called to the city office. The city employee answer my question then I got I need to go to the city office and apply for it.

In the morning, I went to the city office to apply for it. I brought my student card and the letter. I could apply for it as soon as when I arrived at the city office. The city employees worked very fast. (I believed that they don't work so quickly.) I could done my mission very fast.

But there are one problem. I need to apply for it again in April, 2009. I need to go there again in April, 2009... Of course, I will go because I don't wanna pay until I'll graduate...

I'm not 20 yrs old yet

In

Japan, there are National pension plan. We need to pay monthly between 20 yrs old and 60 yrs old. It is duty for all Japanese aged between 20 yrs and 60 yrs old but over 50% people didn't pay it. It's a big problem. But if I can, I don't wanna pay for it. Because I might not get enough money after I will become 60 yrs old.

But I will be 20 yrs old in this month. Then a letter from government came to me these days. The letter says I need to pay 14,410 yen every month. I'm still student then, I might not be able to pay such money every month. So, I'll use derogation for students and young people. If we apply for it, we don't have to pay.

Of course, I don't wanna pay so, I will apply it. To apply it, I need to go to the office for apply. The letter says I need to bring my student card or commute verification for probation. I thought that it is tough for me to get commute verification because I need to go to school to get commute verification but I'm still in summer vacation. Possibly I don't wanna go to school during summer vacation but I have student card then I'll go to the office with my student card.

Toshocard

you know "Toshocard"? Toshocard is one of the prepaid card that selling in Japan. But this prepaid card can be only used to buy books. "Toshocard" was not "Toshocard" before. In 1960, Nippon Tosho Fukyu Co.,LTD started to selling book coupon. Book coupon have often been used as a gift for school children. Book coupon was completely replaced to "Toshocard" in October 2005. There are 6 prices. 500 yen, 1,000 yen, 2,000 yen, 3,000 yen, 5,000 yen and 10,000 yen.

When we use book coupon we need change but we don't need change if we use "Toshocard". But it is difficult to know our accounts because there are no record on the card. I think, "Toshocard" is very good gift for kids. "Toshocard" is also used to promote reading books. These years, many young Japanese don't read books and some people think this is because of getting degrade of verbal aptitude. When I was young I don't like reading books but now I'm different. These days, I like reading books. I read 6 books in last month. I think, it was my record. I've never read such a lot of books in a month.

But why am I like reading books?

It is because "Toshocard", I think. I got 2 toshocards and today I got another one toshocard. Totally, I have 4,000 yen of toshocard. If we have 4,000 yen, we can buy many books. Then I bought many books and I'm reading it. I think, reading books is good then please read books!

Fight in the morning

In

the morning, I had a low appetite then I got out of my room to made a cup of coffee. During I'm making a cup of coffee I got the news that prime minister Yasuo FUKUDA decided to resign on the newspaper. After I read newspaper I went to my room with a cup of coffee. When I came back to my room there were black UFO.

I went out of my room with a cup of coffee. Then I came back to my room again with bug killer.

At that time UFO was flying near window in my room. I thought, that one couldn't come to me then I sprayed bug killer to UFO. But UFO didn't seems weak then I sprayed bug killer for about 30 seconds.

UFO got weak then I opened the window and threw the UFO to outside.

This is the end of my "fight in the morning".
I don't know exactly but it looks like paper wasp.

Anyway, I don't wanna fight with such a UFO like today. So, never come to my room especially in the morning.

They came back

Last

week, weather was not good. Rain, heavy rain and cloud. And temperature was not so high. Last week's highest temperature was not over 30 degrees (Celsius). I think, it was really good because temperature was not high. But there were problem. Heavy rains. Last week, I posted the article that is about heavy rain in Japan. I suffered from heavy rain twice a week... Each day my shoes sunk and I couldn't wear the shoes next day.

I thought, summer has gone and autumn came to us. But it was not fact. Today is good weather and highest temperature was over 30 degrees. Summer came back to us. Maybe, it is usual. Last year was same like today. In September, highest temperature was over 30 degrees. So, this is not special but something different. Weather forecast said like "It will be rain today". It's seems be sunny day but it'll be rain today...

In usual year, typhoon come to Japan so many times and hit many cities in Japan. This year is different. Typhoon did not come to Japan so many times. This year's trend is suddenly change the weather and start heavy rain and thunders. It's like squall. Maybe, Japan's climate changed to the tropical zone... Maybe, it is one of the effect of global warming.

Do everything without using hands

Sometimes,

I think, if I can post my web log without using my hands. Of course, it is not so tough work for me that post my web log. That is one of the reason that why I'm keep posting my web log. But if I can post my web log without using my hands, how easy to post. I don't have to type, only thing that I need to do is think. Computer would read my mind and type it themselves.

I think, these passion made easy our lives. For example, mobile phones, the Internet, automotive, airplenes etc. These useful things made by human beings. Of course, many people ignored these stupid ideas long time ago. But there were people who could their dream came true. I like the phrase of Apple's commercial message in 1997 "Think different".

"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round page in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not found of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things."

This campaign was about a decade ago. But there were no commercial message that exceed this one, I think.

Anyway, I hope someday, the crazy ones or not the crazy ones can make my dream come true. LOL But I don't wanna wear damn machine like helmet. Even if that machine would appear, I won't use it because I can type. But there are people who can't type or do something. Maybe it will be really nice thing to break down these problems. I hope some day that this dream come true.
