One big problem

In April, I wrote the story about "Earthquake early warning" . But on Tuesday, team of Yokohama National University found the big problem of earthquake early warning. I mean, this is not problem of its system. The problem is how to tell us the warning. TV is one of the most major way to tell us that warning.
These year, Japan is changing the way of TV system. Now we can watch the TV both analog way and digital way. But analog way will end in 2010. We can watch HD quality TV in our house.
Digital TV is HD quality and good sounds but its data size is really big. And TV took a little time to show us the image. That the problem. It took about 2 seconds more than analog TV.
I wrote that earthquake early warning is not so fast. Because it is hard to know when it'll happen. Then 2 seconds is very important to take action. Maybe most of digital TV users won't be able to know the warning before its happen. We must think about that.
