There are only few days until the new year will come.
In this season some Japanese salesclerk will be very busy, I think. Because until 25 they have to adorn their stores with Xmas decorations and after that they have to adorn their stores with new year decorations.
I don't know exactly but many countries like the United States don't change Xmas decorations until the new year will come. But in Japan, we have "お正月(Oshogatsu)". And "お正月(Oshogatsu)" is one of the biggest events in Japan. It is our traditional events in Japan so, we can't ignore it. And many shop owners will decorate their shops for "お正月(Oshogatsu)".
I'll tell you one of "お正月(Oshogatsu)" decoration. I uploaded 2 photos in above on this article, one on left side is Xmas leaf. And one on right side is "門松(Kadomatsu)". Some shops and offices put it in front of their building or entrances. It is usually put it in pair (left side and right side), we can see it during "お正月(Oshogatsu)", I mean from December 20 to January 15.
But I wrote before, many shop owners decorated their shop for Xmas then, most of shop will put it after 25, December. And I saw that work yesterday. After their shop closed, they changed their Xmas decorations to new decorations. I think, it is very hard work and unusual.

Now, I can "touch"
Anyway, I found little changes in accessories.
First, iPod's connector changed. Left one is old one and right one is new one. Did you got the difference?
Left one has buttons in their sides but right one don't have button. And new one got smaller. In this case this change got worse, I think. Buttons on the sides was really useful for me so, I don't like new one. In fact, I'm using old one still. Sorry, Jobs.
There are another change in earphone. Left one is old one and right one is new one.
I think, there are no big changes. But they changed the design. New one looks better smart than old one and it's in good design.
I also checked the quality of sounds. But I couldn't found the difference in the quality of sounds. I think, quality of sounds in iPod is not so good and I don't care about official earphones. So, I'm using audio-technica's earphone "CK-32".
I updated the black one but I'm using white one. And I improved it by myself. Because it's too weak in deep sounds. My improvement was not large-scale, but I covered the small hole in the earphone. In this improvement, this earphone got strong in deep sounds and I like this earphone now.Thank you for your reading!

It's really small. And we can make out K-car from yellow based license plate. Of course, only in Japan...
Many Japanese buy K-cars because the tax is cheaper than other categories. And K-cars are very economical on gas. It is very important problem because the oil prices are really high these days.
Anyway, Japan Automobile Dealers Association announced that Suzuki's Wagon R got No.1 sales for 9 months straight. Suzuki's Wagon R is also K-car.

Minivan is also popular car in Japan. We can carry many baggage that is one of the good points of minivan. But I think, many minivan users don't use every seats when they drive their minivans. Mostly, they drive it with 1 or 2 passengers. I don't think that minivans are very economical on gas.
Few years before, the automakers in Japan released a lot of types of minivans. This strategy caused a flight from automobiles between young people. In fact, automobile sales in Japan is decreasing now.
They have to get the young people's attention into their cars.

I can't "touch"
On weekend, I was enjoying our school's festival.
On Sunday night, we have the show in the gym and I joined the quiz. I couldn't believe it but I won the game!! Then I got the iPod touch!!
I have iPod(Video) and I'm using everyday. Because I can carry a lot of songs with iPod. It's really useful and in nice design. I like it.
Anyway, I'm using PC but my PC is really old one. OS is Windows2000. Can you believe it?
And I can't use iPod touch if I'm using Windows2000. So, I can't touch. LOL
I have to update to XP or Vista. Or buy new Mac. I can't touch until then...><
I'm soooooooooooooooo sad... I got new iPod but I can't use it...
My friends don't use Windows2000. They are using XP, Vista or Mac. I wanna buy Mac. In fact, I'm going to buy a MacBook in February, 2008. Maybe...
If I turn on iPod touch, it show me the logo of iTunes. I think iPod touch want to say to me "Please connect to iTunes".
Yesterday, I tried to connect iPod touch to my PC. I think, if I connected iPod touch to my PC, it won't move. But I tried...
Of course, it didn't work on my PC.
I want to use my iPod touch~~~~~~~ LOL

It's happened on Monday.
Because my left sole hurt. I don't know why, but I couldn't walk as smooth as usually...
I wanted to know why my left sole hurt and why was it happened only at left sole? Then, on Thursday, I visited bonesetter.
I got why my left sole hurt. My backbone wasn't straight. So, load has been added to my left sole.
Bonesetter said, "your left leg was shorter than right one. That's why your left sole hurt."
Now, I'm feeling better. But I have to visit bonesetter sometimes. Because I wanna fix my backbone straight.

This quiz is from potato chips. This potato chips is from Pringles. Have you ever eaten this?
I think, these potato chips is really nice! Because it's very funny and I can enjoy eating and thinking about the answer.
This is Spider man movies trivia. I know only this Spider man movies trivia but there are more types of Pringles I think. Same type of Pringles. Like Harry Potter movies trivia, Mission Impossible movies trivia and more. But I don't know these type of Pringles will released. Please ask salesman of Pringles.. LOL
Anyway, this summer is very hot! But a few months before Japan Meteorological Agency said like "This summer would be cool". They made very big miss judgement.
Yesterday, in Tajimi and Kumagaya marked highest temperature. It was 40.9 in centigrade. It is new record of Japan's highest temperature.
*Tajimi is in Gifu prefecture and Kumagaya is in Saitama prefecture.
My town is very hot too. But the highest temperature is not over 40 degrees. So, maybe it's lucky to me. If the highest temperature is over 40 degrees, maybe I can't live...

Get ready for the speech contest
Last year that contest held in September. But this year is different. This year that contest will hold in August. It is because our school's curriculum. Usually our school's summer vacation start in July. But this year it will start on 11 August. So, we can't hold the contest in September. In September, we are in summer vacation.

Hachioji Matsuri (Festival)
On 3 to 5 was Hachioji festival.
I've joined that since I was elementary school student. So, I joined that this year too.
Photograph is a miniature shrine that I carried on 4 and 5. I heard that this one was the heaviest one in Hachioji.
Anyway, it's very good weather on 4 and it was really nice. But on 5, the weather changed...

Summer time.
It was very hot today. The highest temperature was 32 degrees in centigrade. And I think, it is still over 30 degrees in centigrade now.
Today I heard cicada's chirp. It's the first time to hear the chirp in this year.
I used to collect cast-off skins when I was child like elementary school student. Did you do like that? But if I wanna collect these things, I have to go to somewhere. Somewhere like large natural park.

The end of rainy season.
The Meteorological Agency announced that today. They said it's about twelve days later than common years. It was the fourth latest ends in their data.
This year is different from common years for me. Because I have to go to school until 10 August.
Last year, our school's summer vacation began from 21 July. But in this year, our school's summer vacation will begin from 13 August.
Anyway, I'll write my blog every day during summer vacation!
Maybe I can't... LOL
But I'll try to do that!

The rainy season.
I don't like June in Japan...
In Japan, June is in the rainy season. So, the weather is not good and rain makes me nervous.
I have another reason that I don't like this season.
I always go to my school by bicycle but if in the rainy season, I have to go there by train. Because I don't want to wet until I'll arrive to my school. But if I use the train, I need twenty minutes more than when I use bicycle. And I need money to ride the train...
But some say, the rainy season is very important for our lives.
It is because, we need water to our lives and this season bring us much water to pass the summer season. So, this season is important.
Of course, I know we need the rainy season. But if I can, I wanna avoid the rainy season... LOL

Ice cucumber
Probably it's the first diary in June.
Today, I found the new Pepsi names "Pepsi ice cucumber" in the convenience store. Soon, I bought it. LOL
When I came back to home, I searched in the internet. Then, I got that "Pepsi ice cucumber" is limited sale and today is the first day of the sale.
The color was not like usual coke but taste was coke. And it's fresh.
I searched the Pepsi USA site too.
Then, I got products that we didn't see in Japan.
I'll tell you only these name.

Walking at your office.
What do you think, if someone put walking-machine and computer together?
In the case of Mayo Clinic, they built "Vertical workstation".
When you use this machine, you can walk while you are working at the office.
They say, if you use this machine 2 to 3 hours per day you can lose your weight 20 to 30 kg a year.
Why don't you use this? LOL
But you can't use this because it is not for sale...
They say, it costs approximately $US1600.

Platinum Mint!?
Long time no see...
These days, I'm in busy days so I couldn't use my computer... ><
These days, many products contain platinum, don't you think so?
Today, I found "XYLISH PLATINUM MINT" in the store and I bought it. LOL
The photo on top is the "XYLISH PLATINUM MINT".
Taste was good and I surprised that paper is not silver but gold!!
I bought that but I don't know the effect...
At first, what is good to taking platinum?
It's use for electronic devices, isn't it?

Thank you day.
Yesterday was March 9th. And some Japanese says March 9th is the "Thank you day".
That why because, in Japanese we pronounce 3 as さん(san) and 9 as きゅう(kyu).
These pronunciation is like "Thank you" so some Japanese says like that.
I heard that some companies held the campaign about that.
The campaign like write the "Thank you card" for your important people.
That campaign held by the educational company.
But I heard about that in this morning...LOL
Anyway, "Thank you" is the very good compliment I think.
Because we must not forget these feeling.
In this blog, I will tell you how you say "Thank you" in Japanese.
In Japanese, ありがとう(arigato).
Please use it in your daily life!

Temporary driver's license.
Last Saturday, I took the test of temporary driver's license.
The test was two types.
First, I took the skill test.
I couldn't drive a car last week and I was worried about that.
But I could drive a car smooth on the test.
After the skill test, I took the written test.
I couldn't study for that so much so, I was very worried.
BUT on Sunday, I called to the driver's school then I heard that I passed the written test too.
I'm so happy!
BTW, I'm in the final exam week.
This exam is the most important exam to me now.
And I have to take over 60 points in every subjects.
So, I have to study more.
I may not post new one for a week or 2 weeks. Sorry...

Before the final exam.
Next week, I have the final exam in my school.
Now, most of Japanese schools are in the graduation season.
And these types of school's final exam have finished but, my school is 5 years system so, I have to go there 2 more years.
It is different from other schools.
So, my school's final exam will start from next week.
And the schedule of the exam was release in this week but, the schedule was so tight to me...>.<
Anyway, I have no time.

To drive a car by myself.
These days, I go to the driving school near my house.
In Japan, we can get a driver's license from 2 month before of 18th birthday.
But we have to pass the exam of driver's license.
Most of Japanese goes to the driving school.
In driving school, we are studying about road safety and how to ride a car.
If we studied all of subjects and pass the exam, we can ride a car fairly. LOL
Now I'm studying in driving school too.
I don't know in foreign countries.
But if you has some information about driving school in your country, please tell me!
I said, most of Japanese goes to the driving school but there are two types of driving school.
In the first one, we have to go there many many times like usual schools.
Because, in this type of schools we can study 2 or 3 subjects per day. And these schools don't have dormitory.
But we can't get the driver's license in very short term like the another one.
In the second one, we don't have to go there many many times.
Because this type of schools have dormitory and we have to stay there until we get the driver's license.
But we can get the driver's license in very short term!
I'm studying in the first one.
I don't have much time to go to the second one. So, I chose the first one.
The first one has many many characters. These schools can study with my friends and I can take care about my schedule.

Came back
You know, my mobile phone was broken so, I got that repairs last week.
On last week's Sunday, I got telephone call from the service shop. The clerk said "Your mobile phone came back from the service station. Then when will you come to our shop?" I answered "I will go there on Monday or Tuesday."
Then, I went there on Tuesday. The clerk said "We changed your mobile phone's basis. Maybe the problem has solved."
BUT, my mobile phone's camera still has the big problem! I can't take normal photo by my mobile phone!!
So, I gave up to get my mobile phone repairs...
I wait for the time that new mobile phone with good design and good quality will be on sale. Then I will buy new mobile phone!

Hola! 2007!
A happy new year!!
Did you go to the countdown event?
Or spent in your house with TV?
Anyway, the new year came to us.
I was in Takahatafudo that is famous temple in Tokyo when the new year came.
In Japan, most of people pay a visit to a temple on New Year's Day.
That we call "初詣(Hatsumoude)".
And I paid a visit to the Takahatafudo on New Year's Day.
There were many many people and we did countdown to the 2007.
When the new year came, I queued at the approach to a temple to pay a homage.
I waited over half an hour!!
I was sooooooo tired...
But after that, I queued at the temple to draw a fortune slip...
New Year's Day was really hard to me. LOL
Anyway, I hope you'll spend really nice time in this year!
