Charity but guarantee
some charity TV programs in Japan too. One of the most famous charity
TV program is "24 hour TV(24時間テレビ)", I think. This program
is 24 hours long TV program that started in 1978. The program
broadcasts Saturday evening to Sunday evening every year. There's many
topics but I heard that most of performers, MCs and guests receive
guarantee.
Also, the TV station receive ad money as their benefit even the
program called "Charity program". What do you think about this?
Anyway, the result of the general election. DPJ won 308 seats and they
became the leading political party.

Change would be realized?
About a week ago, major newspapers announced their result of opinion poll. They all said the same thing. DPJ have a big advantage. Some said, they might get over 300 seats in this election... The regular number of House of Representatives is 480. Then over 60% of members of House of Representatives might be the member of DPJ.
BTW, I already voted this morning. This election also called as "general election" but this election include examination of the Supreme Court Judges(最高裁判所裁判官国民審査). But I think, most of people don't know about this examination including me. Because we don't know how and why the judges elected. I think, this system must change.
Anyway, the result of this election will be unveiled until Monday morning. So, I might post about this election on Monday.

Not in Yokohama but...
I'm not in Yokohama but I'm in Kanagawa prefecture now. I've been to Yokohama several times but these years I've never been there. I wanted to visit Yokohama again because I wanna get Starbucks' tumbler that's selling only in Yokohama. (Of course, I have more reasons that I wanna visit Yokohama again.) I like to go to Starbucks. I like the mood and smell of coffee. And I like to collect the limited tumblers. I have some tumblers.
Anyway, I'm in Kanagawa prefecture but Yokohama is far away from here I felt. It's easy to go to Enoshima but Yokohama is not so near... But I felt that I don't have enough time to go to Yokohama on weekday. Then I refused to visit Yokohama during my first stay at the dormitory...
This evening I went to Starbucks coffee store at Fujisawa station to drink a cup of coffee. Fortunately, I found the Yokohama tumbler:D So, I don't have to go to Yokohama. lol
(I will go there if I have a time, of course)

Kintaro
On Monday, I went to the nearest convenience store from the dormitory with my friend. At that time we found this funny named dessert. きんたろう牛乳を使った杏仁豆腐 This is the name of that funny dessert i bought on Monday. And you can check that photo on top of this article. If I translate this name into English, I might say the almond jelly with "Kintaro milk".
I've never heard the name of "Kintaro milk". But the taste of this almond jelly was nice, I felt. If you have a time, please try this. lol

Fake
6.37 a.m. the Japan Meteorological Agency issued an earthquake early
warning. An earthquake early warning is the system that tell us the
strong earthquake that will hit in a few second. The system worked
well in the strong earthquake that hit Shizuoka prefecture this month,
I heard.
We can hear or see the warning in many places. I saw it on TV this
morning. Some mobile phones can get these warnings by mail, I heard.
The system is really useful and helpful I believe. But...
This morning's warning for Tokyo and other Kanto region was incorrect.
The strong earthquake didn't hit Tokyo. But warning stopped some
trains. Then some line delayed I heard. Fortunately, it was early in
the morning then they could recover soon. But if this warning issued
during the rush hour, they might not be able to recover until noon...
Anyway, I could ease my mind because the strong earthquake didn't hit.
And I hope the Japan Meteorological Agency will warn us the correct
warning next time...

My first life in the dormitory
initiated. I've never stayed in dormitory then this is my first time
to stay in dormitory. There's no tv, no computer in my room... :(
But not so noisy here. I don't feel it is hard to live but I felt a
little desolate because there's only a few people near the dormitory...
Anyway, I'll back to home on weekends and my internship will finish in
18th September. Until then I will do my best. lol

Hone again
I didn't know that they uploaded some videos on YouTube when I posted article about 骨展(exhibition 5 "bones"). But I found some official videos on YouTube I accessed from Japan of course, then the video might not be able to play in other countries.... But I'll add the URL. escape!
Yesterday, I received a package by delivery. That contained one book, one paper and one booklet. It's a present from one of my fav
orite radio programs. I always listen that program and sometimes I send some messages. And I sent one on Saturday.
Saturday's guest was comedian. And the present from the program was the book that he wrote. The title of the book is "escape!" then today's blog's title is "escape!"... lol
And the book include the writer's autograph. You can check it photo on below.

End of the era?
Over 50 years the LDP had a secure majority in the National Diet. But former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi quit his job as prime minister, the atomosphere of Japanese politics changed, I felt. After Koizumi, there was new prime minister every year. Shinzo Abe, Yasuo Fukuda and Taro Aso. Latest approval ratings of Aso's cabinet was 16.7%.
On the other hand, the party that nearest to get majority in the next election has a lot of problem too. Latest political party approval ratings of DPJ was 18.4%. A bit higher than Aso...
I don't know the change will really come to us. But maybe it will come...

special bonus?
Fee of TOEIC test that I paid was 6,615 yen (about 70 USD). But from 149th TOEIC test, the fee became 5985 yen (about 63 USD). The amount of difference 630 yen (about 6.7 USD) will be back to me. According to the mail, it will back to me within 3 months. Special bonus for me will come to me until November... lol

amazon addiction?
Do you usually use online shopping like amazon? It was rare to use online shopping before. But these days I often use it. I think, I use amazon every month and order some books. And yesterday I bought some books and I received it just now.
Of course, I prefer bookstore than amazon because I can explore thousands of books there. And I can discover some new books that I've never known. Usually I spend over an hour to discover books that I want to read. But it's difficult to take such a long time... Then I use amazon sometimes to buy some books.
On amazon, there are really many books. There's books more than bookstore. I feel that I "discover" books when I use bookstores. But I don't feel that I "discover" books when I use amazon. I feel that I "search" books when I use amazon. Don't you think so?
Anyway, I also like amazon. I can fast and easily find books that I want to read when I use amazon. And I can receive it 1 or 2 days after my order.

after 5 month
Yesterday, I drove the car after 5 month of interval. I didn't feel that it's difficult to drive it. But I got a little nervous... Anyway I could come back safely. lol
BTW this is the 350th article since I started my blog on blogger. 1 year passed since I started to post article regularly. I posted 243 articles since last year. According to the Google Analytics, there were 1,791 pageviews and visitors came from 62 countries/territories. I wanna say thank you about that. Of course, I wish to post my blog every weekday.
But there're many mistakes or mistypes on my blog, I think. I started to post blog because I want to communicate in English and learn more about English through this blog. Then if you find mistakes or mistypes on my blog and you have time, please send me a message. Your help would make my English better one.

after I renewed
After I renewed my driving license yesterday, I tried blood donation. There was the mobile blood bank in front of driving license centre. So, it was easy to join blood donation after my renewal.
This was my second time of blood donation. Last time was March 2007, I think. I donated my blood in the same place. It was when I took my driving license. I needed to wait about an hour to get my driving license card then I joined blood donation in 2007.
There were some limitations to donate. We can donate our blood 400ml in maximum. Or I should write there’s only 3 ways to donate. One of them is 400ml of blood donation. Another one is 200ml of blood donation. And there’s blood component donation. We can’t donate 12 weeks after the donation for 400ml or 200ml of blood donation. Or we can’t donate 8 weeks for blood component donation. I don’t know about the blood donation in other country but I think there’s also limitation about blood donation.
Anyway, I can’t donate my blood until 3rd November. Or until 6th October for blood component donation. I donated 400ml of my blood but I felt that required time got shorter.

renewed
I woke up this morning because the major earthquake occurred. After I woke up, I searched about this earthquake a little bit. I felt "this might be the Tokai earthquake(major earthquake that occurs every century in Tokai area, Japan.)". More than hundred of people became victim and one died because of this earthquake I heard. And one of the most important way "Tomei expressway" shredded.
Anyway, I renewed my driving license card I posted before. I took 2 hours of lecture there and paid 4,250 yen (about $44). I needed to fill some papers then totally I needed about 3 hours to renew my driving license. I felt that photo on my new driving license card is not good... My hair style is a little strange...lol

Hachioji Matsuri
Last Friday to Sunday was 八王子まつり("Hachioji Matsuri"). I join this festival every year. I'm still in Hachioji so, I joined this year too. Hachioji is the largest city in west side of Tokyo. There are over 500,000 of people, I heard before. And Hachioji Matsuri is the largest festival that hold in Hachioji. It's famous for its parade of floats.
On Saturday and Sunday I carried portable shrine. But on Saturday, the weather was not good I mean heavy rain came to us during we were carrying portable shrine... Also on Sunday the weather was not good but heavy rain didn't came to us during we were carrying portable shrine. But they came to us when we were eating after the festival...
Anyway, the portable shrine was really heavy. Now I have a muscle ache...
If you have a chance, you should try it. There are many festivals in Japan maybe you can find it.

came back
On Monday, I posted about the crack that occurred on my MacBook. I went to Apple store Shibuya to fix my MacBook. And today I got call from Apple store Shibuya that they fixed my MacBook. So, I went there after the school.
They also fixed a problem that I've never known. I didn't know that sensitivity of my MacBook's AirMac (AirPort) card was not good. But they fixed it too.
Anyway, AppleCare Protection Plan is in operation then they fixed these problems free:D
Now I can post my article easily and post my article with photo easily.

To nuclear free world
Today was the 64th anniversary of atomic bombing in Hiroshima. The
peace memorial ceremony held in Hiroshima today. I'm in Tokyo so I
couldn't go there. But I could check the speech on newspaper. Mayor of
Hiroshima-shi used the phrase of Obama. "Yes, we can"
I hope the world without nuclear would realize.

Abnormal weather
weather in July was abnormal weather. There were too many rainy days
and less hours of sunlight. Because of this abnormal weather, the
yield of agricultural products in Japan may fall down... Then the
price of these agricultural products may increase...
Anyway, I felt that the temperature in July was high but it was better
than last year. I don't have an exact data right now then I can't
write the comparison.
But I wanna ask about 'abnormal weather'. What is abnormal weather?
And what is not abnormal weather? Who did decide this? If they
announce 'last month's weather was abnormal' every month, that would
be not abnormal anymore I think.

Update
since then. I got the letter from the police. According to the letter
I need to update my driving licence and I have to take 2 hours long
lecture at the stated place...
This is my first update, so I need to take 2 hours long lecture and I
can update my driving licence only at 2 or 3 places. If this is not
the first update and I'm an excellent driver, I can choose the place
from stated 17 places...
Anyway, I need to update during 11 August to 11 October. I want to
update it as soon as possible because I will work for a company in
August and September as internship.

Just a moment
that I went to college to take an examination. Today was the last day
of final examination for this term. I have 7 more days until summer
vacation...:(
Anyway, my MacBook is not here now because it need to repair. I heard
that my MacBook will come back to me 4 to 7 days. Until then, I will
post the article from my iPhone like today. Maybe mistakes in my blog
will increase until my MacBook will come back because it is hard to
